As reported in, the US Court of Appeals for the 2nd district today ruled against Chris Hedges (Pulitzer Prize winning war correspondent and best-selling author of War is a Force that Gives us Meaning) in his suit against the Obama administration over section 1021 of the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act. This provision enables indefinite military detention without trial until the end of hostilities anyone "who was part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners"

My Debate Questions

So after watching these past two debates this election season I decided to come up with my own list of 20 questions I would like to hear the candidates respond to. I fear that many, or possibly none of these questions will be asked in a nationally televised debate. But these are the questions I wish to ask.

(After lurking for many years and commenting occasionally, I decided to write my first DailyKos diary. I composed this today and posted it to Facebook just now, and it occurred to me, maybe this would make a good DailyKos post. So below the squiggly here I go.)
