Whether overtly, or by omission, interest in having Sarah Palin endorse you as a candidate is about as popular as whether or not to get the H1N1 vaccination. Is it going to hurt you more than help you? If you are a republican candidate that is debatable.

After all, look at what is already occurring...after Sarah Palin and others came out endorsing the 'true conservative', Doug Hoffman in the NY 23 congressional race, his campaign coffers swelled immediately by over $116,000 on the heels of Palin's endorsement.
Dede Scozzafava, the republican candidate for the NY 23 seat (who was by-passed by Palin) in a shocking move just two days before the election not only withdrew from the race but took it one step further, throwing her support and endorsement of the democratic candidate, Bill Owens. Hoffman, is running as an independent 'Conservative Party of NY' candidate and claimed that Scozzafava was too liberal.
