The question as to who Hillary’s Veep should be is becoming more relevant every day. A name that I haven’t seen mentioned is Kamala Harris, Attorney General of California. Currently, Kamala is heavily favored to be the next Senator from California, replacing the retiring Barbara Boxer. If Kamala were to drop out, Loretta Sanchez would become the favorite. California is so heavily Democratic, that Harris and Sanchez are favored to come out on top in California’s Top Two primary on June 7.
In addition to being African-American and Asian-American, she is very charismatic and a proven vote-getter. At 51 (now), she would be ideally positioned to succeed HRC in 2024.

Harris was born in Oakland, California. She is the daughter of an Indian mother, Dr. Shyamala Gopalan Harris, a breast cancer specialist, who immigrated from Chennai, India, in 1960[12] and a Jamaican American father, a Stanford University economics professor, Donald Harris
In 2003, she was elected District Attorney of San Francisco, defeating incumbent Terence Hallinan. She was re-elected in 2007 and served from 2004 to 2011.
Harris was elected California's Attorney General in 2010 and was re-elected in 2014.[2][3] Harris is the first female,[4] the first African-American,[5][6][7][8][9] and the first Asian-American attorney general in California.[10][11] She is running for the United States Senate seat being vacated by Democrat Barbara Boxer in the 2016 election.
