I just came across a reprint of the comment Senator Graham made concerning the Republican Party. He said;
"If we don't do something about voting by mail, we're going to lose the ability to elect a Republican in this country."
Excuse me, why is voting by mail going to prevent the Republicans from electing a Republican President? I seem to recall that there where thousands of republican mail in votes for Donald Trump. Nothing prevented them from voting or mailing in their votes.
Senator i believe that whatever problem the Republican Party is experiencing has nothing to do with voting by mail. I suspect that the appeal of the Republican Party is the main problem that the Republican’s have. I have read on more than one occasion that there are more Democratic Party voters then there are Republican ones. Perhaps Senator Graham should be looking into why the Democrats have a larger following then the Republicans.
Originally i dismissed this as simply sour grapes, but, i kept thinking about it. Realistically, if the Republican Party maintains control of the electoral college, the odds of them electing a President is higher then the Democrats. That doesn’t bother the Senator at all. Instituting voting restrictions or obstacles, also doesn’t bother the Senator. Maybe i was wrong, it is sour grapes.
