To my mind, the fact that the platform doesn't mention exceptions mean there are no exceptions. It's as if I propose a law (or, better yet, a constitutional amendment) that says: "possession of marijuana is a felony," but doesn't have an exception for medical marijuana. Doesn't that mean possession of "medical" marijuana is also banned? This kind of "fact-checking" is worse than useless -- it gives the false impression of a neutral third party fact checking, when they're really only a water-carrier for the GOP.
