How dare you tell me what I love or do not love when you don’t know the meaning of the word.
How dare you tell me what I hate when all I hear from you is hate.
How dare you tell anyone to go back to where they came from when your ancestors almost certainly came from somewhere else.
My mother let us know that it was her duty as a parent to set us on the right path and to correct us when we did something wrong. She made clear that she would always love us but there might be times when she wouldn’t love what we did.
I will always love this country but your hate-filled rhetoric is putting us on the wrong path and it is my duty as a citizen to object.
Look in a mirror before you criticize anyone else. Spare me your sanctimonious words and show me by your actions that you love this country as much as I do.
