IBM has sent a letter to the governor of Louisiana warning that a pending religious freedom bill would create a hostile environment for the tech company's employees.

At 4:08 this morning Joan died quietly with Dorian, Leslie and Janet holding her hands.
RIP Joan. You, Isis and your story taught us so much about love.
So many Kossacks have been following the saga of Joan and Isis over the past few months and I knew you all would want to know of the most recent development.
The previous diaries I've written are here here here and here
On April 22, 2013 we received the news that Jonathan Wayne Broyhill had stabbed our friend Jamie Kirk Hahn. She subsequently died from those wounds.
The background is this...
We worked with Jamie fundraising for John Edwards and we adored her. So vital, involved, and positive was Jamie! To her nothing was impossible if the reason was right.
We also met and grew to love her future husband Nation Hahn. Also involved with fundraising, also a total positive force for good. To know Nation is to totally love him and his devotion to trying to do good for mankind.
Please excuse if already diaried...
Israel is requesting $300 million, more than the $155 million already requested by the Pentagon, for missile defense systems against Iran's ballistic missiles.
According to a Republican source Israel is asking for the procurement for the Arrow 3, a counter to Irainian long range missiles.
So many of you have asked for updates on Joan and Isis. You have also asked how you can help. Some of you wanted to send books for Joan to read. Some of you have sent cards to her. You have all cared.
As I told you I would do, here is the latest on these two extraordinary beings... Joan and her wonderful cat Isis.
It's a good, really good, thing.
Jeebus! I did. What a crock. "Hi Nancy, You're one of our most important supporters..." Not really, never sent 'em a daggone dime. Oh, and the categories from which to choose! Deep I tells ya, they were deep!
Getting rid of citizens United.
Equal pay for women.
How much gold is in Donald Trump's penthouse.
(k, made that up)
I have tried to share joy. I have shared that. And I have been scared witless. I have been down, shared that too. Been in the pits. I tried to rise above, sharing good things. I've been there for friends because where else would I be? But oh my god I have been so scared. My sweet husband has had a health scare that has taken six weeks to get to the bottom of. But we kept on keeping on, doing Christmas for Mom, age 93, and trying to be upbeat and positive. It was a bitch of a struggle.
My late Dad's favorite epithet. When things bugged him, when he was peeved, shall we say. "Jesus Connecticut Christ Nancy!" (my given name). "Why did/didn't you...?"
He did have a way with words.
I'm feeling those words tonight, and have been for awhile, in all honesty. But geez Louise, are those the best words I can find?
How about #>damnit? Or /)ck? Oh yeah, a personal favorite... just s:}t?
So now I can tell you with real names!
Many of you have read about "Baby" and "Sue" here, here, and here.
Their story was picked up by Vetstreet and I want to share it with you as well as their real names.
Many of you have read my diaries about about Baby and Sue.
Many of you have asked to be updated and what an update there is!
Pointsettias were delivered from their FaceBook group as I previously mentioned. All of the patients received one as well as one for the staff. They were extremely happy as not a one of these folks has a visitor, nothing. In fact, they now await at the door for the volunteers who are helping Sue and Baby to arrive. Usher them in, chat with them. All are involved.
and you can't read it, is it a diary?
Talk amongst yourselves.
