I think I’ve written only one diary here before, and I don’t comment often. I’m more of intermittent lurker. But I saw this political ad, which was released earlier today, and I wanted to make sure it was shared here in the hopes that those of you on FaceBook and in swing states will share it with those you know.
The ad is called “Quiet,” and was created by Save The Day (savetheday.vote), a PAC started by Joss Whedon, writer, director, and the creator of one of my all-time favorite TV shows, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
You may have seen Save the Day’s fast-talking, funny first video, which featured a huge cast of famous actors (Robert Downey, Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johanssen, and Mark Ruffalo among them).
“Quiet” is totally different in tone and approach, and I think, audience. I don’t want to say much about it, but I’ll say that I teared up a little the first time I watched it.
Judging by my Twitter feed, I’m not the only one:
Thanks for reading. If you like the video, too, please share it with those you know.
Oh, and do it soon!
Tuesday is the deadline for registering to vote in 13 states...
