  •  That's one narrow way of looking at it (3+ / 0-)

Chris Hedges is warning against the spread of Fascism, Permanent War, and other atrocities while many of the people claiming Liberalism sit idly by as the country goes over a right wing tipping point.

His is a valuable voice that should be heard.

"he's filling our heads full of figures and angles,
and telling us stuff that we already know"

Most intelligent people already know about "the spread of Fascism, Permanent War, and other atrocities." Chris Hedges is telling them point blank that they can't do anything about it. His message on Libya is that they didn't do anything about it and he is willing to twist the facts to "prove" his point.

Ultimately, he is one of the voices encouraging "the people claiming Liberalism [to] sit idly by as the country goes over a right wing tipping point."

      •  Actually many otherwise inteligent people don't (0+ / 0-)

no shit about it, or something would be done to hold the war mongers, torturers, and propagandists accountable.
