    There is zero doubt that Obama did make horrible choices with Summers and Geithner...

    BUT whether the "new" Obama is simply political posturing or it's a necessity to get reelected... he has pulled back.

    Obama "...has suddenly stopped compromising 'with himself,'" as it was recently stated in a New York Times editorial. She talks of a hopefully refocused Obama "...who—with his jobs plan and his call for economic fairness in cutting the deficit, including raising taxes on corporations and the rich—seems, for the moment, to be taking a stand for Main Street.”

    And, of course, also on the upside, we now have Ms. Warren with an honest-to-goodness shot at actually returning to D.C. as a senator.

    We need to keep the pressure on in order to alter the reality of what can be done in Washington. AND at the local level. Tearing down Obama and putting Republican policies in place is NOT where we are going.
