    Are you kidding? You need a permit to redress your government? Your freedom to assemble is the FIRST AMENDMENT of the Constitution and the CORNERSTONE OF A DEMOCRACY, not the NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINTH Amendment to the civic by-laws after not interrupting the bar business. We are in serious times, where the government demands you to hire a lobbyist to be heard, and to shut up otherwise and watch television. "Free Speech Zones" are Orwellian double think for suppression of free speech.

      I'm not disagreeing with you.

      City ordinanaces do more or less say, though, that you can only assemble at certain times and at certain places and frequently with certain kinds of permits. And there are various reasons that municipalities have those laws in place (i.e. public safety, crime, public sex, etc.)
