    Today, that's near 60 million.

    I am fortunate enough to have healthcare through the VA, even though I'm out of work (and never expect to get back into the workforce).

    I can not imagine the level of suffering people with no insurance go through, when they can't go to a doctor when they're sick, or more importantly, for preventive care and checkups before a potential illness is past the point of no return.

    It knocks me out every day that even with healthcare "reform" there are so many more uninsured today then there was three years ago.

    We're resigned to our collective fate because we've been conditioned and brainwashed to believe that this is as good as it gets. It's not.
