  •  So you're calling Obama a fool? (0+ / 0-)

Because anyone who lets their friends "make him drink" on weekends is surely a fool.

    •  Oh no. I would never be so kind as to say or (1+ / 0-)

imply that Obama is a fool.

Obama knows exactly what he is doing.

      Foolish, he is not.

What is foolish is when people buy into the meme of Obama's powerlessness, being led "astray" by ill-advice, or he can't do anything because the evil GOP opposes him.

Buying the powerless, "led astray", and stymied by the GOP memes is what's foolish.

Foolish would be repeating my mistake in 2008 and using my vote to help quash any true opposition against policies benefiting the predator class.

Foolish would be expecting someone who publicly praises Wall Street to do anything in opposition to the predator class' pro-1% policies.

Foolish would be maintaining faith that Obama really cares about jobs as a #1 priority in the face of his creating a Cat Food Commission and calling for More Free Trade Job Outsourcing deals.

Foolish would be expecting a change with respect to the government's intrusion on our civil rights when our party leader calls for renewal of King George's Patriot Act.

Foolish would be expecting Wall Street to be held accountable or investigated by the Department of Justice when Obama's Attorney General is a corporate counsel who has shown zero interest in pursuing a business sector from whence Obama appointed his Chief of Staff from.

Congress drags Obama down just like my friends make me drink on weekends.

    •  As for drinking... (0+ / 0-)

It would be foolish for anyone to believe I'm powerless and only drink because my friends make me.

Such an excuse would be about as believable as having faith that a President who selected his Chief of Staff from JP Morgan is actually opposed to Wall Street or has any interest whatsoever in reigning them in.

Sadly, I'm sure I could easily convince a sizable portion of the electorate that my drinking would lessen if only I was provided with more and better friends.

Congress drags Obama down just like my friends make me drink on weekends.
