  •  And the degree of culpability (0+ / 0-)

you suggest the President has for war waged upon us is bullshit. I am not going to argue the point with you because it's stupid and beneath intelligent disagreement. Please don't make me regret the uprate.

You are entitled to comport yourself as a DKos user in whatever manner you see fit. I'm not craving your approval, and I'm now cowed by your withholding of such. I'm not calling you names or being otherwise belligerent. Your response to me is not very carefully crafted, from a rhetorical standpoint so it's hard for me to respond to. "And the degree of culpability you suggest the President has for war" is hard to follow. Are you suggesting Osama bin Laden "waged war upon us?" Or that we waged war in Afghanistan? Confusing.

Obama inherited the clusterfuck in Afghanistan, god help him. All I am pointing out is that while it can be argued that the apprehension of bin Laden reflected well on the President, then we must also admit that things like stray drone attacks, collateral civilian damage, or catastrophic loss of troops also reflect on him, in one way or another, and to a degree. I make no judgement as to the comparative degree of responsibility, I merely suggest that with the good comes the bad, because, as the saying goes, the buck stops with whoever occupies the Oval Office.

      •  Your dissembling (0+ / 0-)

is idiotic, frankly. Every post you make tries to make it seem like you're standing by your argument while you simultaneously back away from it, and you do such a poor job of dissembling that I feel frankly insulted you think I'm so oblivious that you could get away with it.

        End of line.
