  •  We need to stop being surprised at the fact (4+ / 0-)

    that the media is the mouthpiece of the uber-wealthy.

    I don't mean "Yes, the informational news shows do seem a bit slanted in that direction..."

    I mean that the 'news' shows on television are not about informing the public AT ALL.

    They are propaganda outlets for corporate America, and that is all that they are.

    Rule of thumb: If it's advertised on TV, you probably shouldn't buy it.
