  •  Yep. The establishment must be terrified. Look at (9+ / 0-)

his history in the house and imagine that in the WH! And even if you exclude how easy it is to look up history on the toobz today, plenty of the people who are likely voters are of an age that they remember Newt. And don't have fond memories of him. Newt is a walking molotov cocktail. For fk's sake - just two weeks ago he was advocating rounding up congress critters and judges that don't agree with him. Who in their f'n right mind would vote for that?

"We're here to start a dialog, nothing more. We keep quiet and let the press, the politicians, and the Wall Streeters hang themselves." From a veteran protester in the civil rights days at Liberty Park. h/t to pistols at dawn.

The GOP insiders love Rmoney because he basically cuts out the middle man for the 1%. Gingrich will throw hissy fits - like attacking the 1% - when he doesn't get his way.

the 1% to make himself look good, while being one of them.

My badly made inference above, was about the number of people who voted for Reagan, W, and more recently, McCain. I'm not all that trustful about the acumen of far too many of the American people. Their votes got us into this mess.

When I see a large scale recognition of that fact, when MSM starts actually reporting facts, not opinions, then perhaps I'll change my outlook.
