  •  The Occupy Movement does not fit (23+ / 0-)

the current Democrat/Republican political model we are used to here at dkos.  It also does not fit the top down hierarchal organizational structure that most people are used to.  It is not a political movement.  It is a social movement that is having and will result in significant political change. IMHO, the Occupy Movement has the potential to upset the current power structure and effect desperately needed profound changes world wide.

All these things push people outside their normal comfort zone so they automatically resist.  For me personally, I find the Occupy Movement exciting.  It gives me optimism in the future that has been desperately lacking in our world.

    •  The whole (5+ / 0-)

99% vs 1% (fairer distribution of wealth)meme is basically left of center politics encapsulated.

Occupy is not a Right wing movement and I, for one, have zero problem with that.

If others want to play semantics that is fine too.

dkos who want to try to find fault with the Occupy Movement.  I think it pushes them outside their comfort zone of how things should be done.
