  •  I think they will definitely have a late (0+ / 0-)

runner. Follow the pattern of the not-Romneys. Each and every one of the Republiclowns held the front spot for a few weeks, gaining that position by simply being not-Romney. Once reality and proper vetting kicked in each front runner lost considerable ground. The GOP establishment knows this and no doubt is carefully working on exactly who there last minute not-Romney will be. Christie? Jeb? Daniels? All damaged goods but hey, these clowns are desperate enough to try something at the last minute. I'm sure Sarah is biding her time and watching closely too. It should get very interesting in the next few months as their desperation grows.

    •  Why would any of those three (four) jump in (0+ / 0-)

and risk tarnishing their names with GOP voters? 2016 is only four years away, and people with brains can see that President Obama is well liked as a person even if his performance isn't always highly regarded.

I just dont see, if I'm watching this from the sidelines, why I would risk running against a well liked president under controversial conditions, when I can run in a clear field in a few years -- especially when I already have a good executive level  job right now, one that helps me get to the presidency in the future.

Ok, that leaves out the Semi-Governor. So she might jump in....

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not.
