    You didn't get there by exploiting anybody. You were both smart and lucky, and you acknowledge that. And you are paying it forward to help out your friends.

    I'm a Dreamweaver pro, and on my to becoming becoming a CSS master, but I'm a chronic freelancer with sporadic clientele who are mostly non-profits and other artists, i.e. they don't have the big budgets. I also do some online web development teaching for a university's outreach program, and the three of us web teachers are going to be getting some education in Drupal and other CMS developing this year, so that we can eventually offer it to our students.

    It's been hand to mouth for the past few years, but that is a step up from the falling into the deep hole of the previous six years. But it sure would be nice to have something of a safety net under me, and it would be even nicer to not continue to defer dreams I've had for over a decade.
