  •  I'm not sorry about it, now (10+ / 0-)

It's part of my life's journey. My reactions and next steps were critical to my development into the person I am today. If I hadn't had that experience, I might not have ever realized my own inner strengths.

Thankfully, I found some allies in campus administration and I was able to spend the next 2.5 years working with them to prevent (or at least reduce the likelihood of) this sort of thing from happening to other students.

It could have been much worse. It could have not happened at all. But it did happen, and so I am glad it happened in the way it did. I turned out OK in the end.

This is my life. All the pain, all the joy it brings. All through the years, the blood, sweat, and tears, my hopes and my fears -- all that has led me to now. This is my life, and I wouldn't change a thing.
