With the methane releases already occurring we are past the tipping points; our kids are looking at dead oceans and rain forests no longer producing enough oxygen to keep the atmosphere breathable.

Rising sea levels covering most urban infrastructure making it very difficult to maintain all the nuke plants that decided it would be prudent to use sea water for cooling. With them go our ports, our water and sewage treatment plants, our oil refineries, our power plants that depend on coal being delivered by sea, our LPGN terminals.

That's in addition to an end to the fossil water that irrigates our crops, extinction of species including those of us who can't afford to terraform a livable environment on a planet that no longer supports life as we know it.

Where do we react first, what problems can we solve in isolation? Plague, pestilence, drought, famine, resource wars, storms and natural disasters that are no longer "natural" which one gets our limited resources?

Climate change doesn't seem to be the sort of thing that we could just throw money at, there wouldn't be enough no matter how fast we print it.

People are dying of it now, what do we tell them?
