    I wasn't debating about which division of AMR Bain advised; I was noting the fact that Romney's Bain did the advising.

    The "Right" thing is almost always the wrong thing.

      ... "Romney's Bain" is Bain Capital. The company involved with American Eagle is Bain & Company (a management consulting firm). They have almost nothing to do with each other; Bain Capital was formed by former executives from Bain & Company (the Mittster among them), but the relationship between the two firms now doesn't extend beyond the name.

      Though Romney was in the far-distant past an exec at Bain & Company, "Romney's Bain" is Bain Capital, the invest-and-break-companies-into-pieces-for-profit business.
