    Even the Publicans saw the message in the backstory for the ad. It certainly wasn't thier efforts that were behind this middle american winning through message. They did it but President Obama had thier backs and everyone knows it. This was a monstrously well devised and written ad and a powerful gift to the middle class. Anyone who saw it and doesn't realize that the clowns running on the other side haven't been there for them and in reality have been working to make it harder for them in every way possible. They didn't have to say it overtly... it is there for every worker who has been BAINED or who has been legislated against by these Publicans for years now. THe message passed by Limbaugh resonates in thier minds as they watched and saw determination to survive and thrive with a second half supporter who stood by them in the first half.

    I admit I saw the ad and shivered with its power and its implications. But I had to laugh when Rove came unglued because even that jackass saw the power and the implied backstory. Fabulous that even he caught the artwork and it froze his blood . But since nothing was overt he has to rail against the perceived message that is easily missed if your mind is not ready. So he does our work for us in that he went on to point out the hidden backstory to those who missed it. Fabulous artwork and a great talented piece. I really hope whoever created this ad goes onto bigger projects because they have talent in bushels But then car companies know how to push our buttons that we didn't even know we had.

      W+K is a first tier, award winning agency that also does Nike and CocaCola. Based here in progressive Portland.

      W+K stays successful by giving the customer outstanding , memorable ads and I am sure Chrsyler is grinning ear to ear over this one. But did those creative types also see a chance to send a multi-layered message? Perhaps but they aren't talking.

        minds as a seive is how campaigns rise and fall. Morning in America indeed. I am so proud that they are in Portland. What artistes and I am sure that they meant what they succeeded at.
