    Because our brains are so large. And advanced Alzheimer's leaves large lesions in the brain, scar tissue if you will, that would take decades to refill.

    And the memories lost from that tissue can never be regrown. Motor skills will eventually return, but what of the color of your mother's hair, or the taste of your favorite pizza from college?

    Keep your religion out of my government.
