  •  I don't think you end up smelling like curry (1+ / 0-)

I take Turmeric-lots of it, in capsule form, for my tendonitis. I've been taking it for a couple of years now and I don't exude a curry smell. I'm taking close to 5 grams a day.

I can ask my roommate to check. ("Hey, can you do me a favor? Sniff me!")

I'd take a bullet for Neil Gaiman.

      •  Turmeric isn't the ingredient that smells (0+ / 0-)

Curry powder is a blend of various different spices, normally including coriander, cumin (smells like chili), fenugreek and red pepper as well as turmeric (which just adds color and a bit of flavor). Other common ingredients (there is no standardized recipe) may include ginger, garlic, asafoetida (boy does THAT smell!), fennel, caraway, cinnamon, clove, mustard, cardamom (sharp but pleasant smell), nutmeg, and assorted other peppers.

        If it's
        Not your body,
        Then it's
        Not your choice
        And it's
        None of your damn business!
