    However, I think 'anti-choice' is not the correct term (nor is 'pro-life'). The correct term for these people is 'forced birth' because that is what they want--to force a woman to give birth. In some cases they don't care whether she dies or not. Framing it this way gives it the slant it needs--namely that the forced birthers are out to control women. When somebody says they are against abortion I tell them I am against forced birth.

      those who are anti-choice, but the term assumes that all pregnancies will result in birth, and we know that is inaccurate. And doesn't that leave them with the opening that if the birth doesn't occur, it must be God's will? And then we're right back to arguing religion, and on their terms again.

      I'm old, so I'm not in the least sure I'm correct about this, thus I am asking this as an earnest question. And I guess to my old ears, anti-choice keeps the focus on the person-hood of the woman.
