    Dear Ms. Hudson:

Thank you for the courtesy of a reply. However, I do not find your explanation credible.

I am familiar with the process of buying radio and TV advertising. The likelihood of an error occurring in this process, whilst not zero, is nonetheless slight. Controls exist at every step, and AutoZone or its agent receives detailed records describing the date, time, channel, program and target "reach" of every spot aired. These records are matched to the audience ratings AutoZone also purchases. If a spot doesn't achieve the audience AutoZone paid for, it is entitled to additional spots to make up the difference. If there were an error, AutoZone would have a record of it, and you would not say "If" in your response.

AutoZone's image is affected by the programs that air its advertising. Spots that air on Rush Limbaugh's execrable program paint the advertiser with his brush. I would like you, Ms. Hudson, to state definitively whether AutoZone has run commercials on Mr. Limbaugh's program; you have the data to correct or support your claim. Until then, I am the regular customer of your competitor.

    Yours very truly,

Autozone, due to the sort of things it sells, probably largely caters to a more conservative male clientele, I'm guessing, who its market research people probably tell them tend to align with the values of people like Rush.

I wonder, though, if it believes that having this publicized will be good for business. Hey sluts ladies, Autozone is great shopping after all that sex!
