    Because it's a pipe dream it will never happen. Statistics show 0.0% of RICO investigations are begun at the behest of Daily Kos writers.

    It's like hoping a CNN reporter will  ask, "Isn't it incredibly sleazy to pit one minority group against another, 'fanning flames of hostility' between them? Did you consider the effect fomenting all that hostility to gays has on gay black people?"

    The fact does remain NOM gets investigated in every state they operate in. They get no substantial penalties, ignore court orders, and move on to do the same thing in another state.

    They really should be held accountable for their lawbreaking by someone. For the integrity of the system.

      I'm no expert on RICO, but my very superficial impression is that it only applies to money laundering intended to cover up an illegal source. Evasion of campaign finance laws wouldn't appear to qualify under 18 USC 1956 and 1961.
