  •  Faux outrage for a number of reasons (25+ / 0-)

    They believe poor women must work, no more welfare. Gingrich believes poor children should be working as janitors and I never heard either Romney expressing outrage over that comment, nor offer even the mildest of rebukes.

    They speak against policies that make it possible for women to stay home. They are against health insurance for all, college tuition assistance, or anything that makes it possible for anyone to move up... I know several moms who are working strictly because their husbands small business doesn't offer insurance. And there are plenty who just need the extra income to pay the mortgage or save for college.

    But godforbid we should say that Ann Romney might not be the best spokesman for women and suddenly we hate motherhood.

    And I'm still waiting for their equal outrage over the catholic league's slam against adoption...
