    That's not what it's about. It's about Republican versus Democratic policies, and how those two parties show their respect for women's choices.
    Leave the spouses out.  Focus on the issues.  Follow the President's lead.

    Why is this so hard?

    Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

      Look, I like the guy. But why do I need to "follow his lead" in terms of what I can talk about? There are things he can't say because (a) with his powerful position, he'll look like a bully if he says them, and (b) they're politically dangerous and might hurt his chances for reelection. I'm not Obama; I'm not an official member of his administration or campaign; I'm not his minion. I'm just a private citizen and I can talk about whatever the hell I want.
