  •  DAMN shame Ann missed out on all that “DIGNITY" (13+ / 0-)

Apparently it’s only noble to stay at home raising children IF your husband is rich.  Consequently ...
    Stay-at-McMansions Moms are hard working
Stay-at-Subsidized-Housing Moms are just plain lazy, shiftless moochers

Therefore, Democrats should sponsor a “Romney Supports Working Mothers Act” to provide FREE childcare for moms so they can work, as he insists they must.  And then force Romney to either support it, or disavow his statement that "I’m willing to spend more giving day care to allow those parents to go back to work."

Like most women, I was a working mom sometimes and a stay at home mom other times, depending on what my son needed most at the time.

When I worked outside the home, I felt guilty that I wasn't home caring for my son.

When I stayed home, I felt guilty because we had to scrimp and I knew if I went out to work life wouldn't be so economically hard.

As Hillary Rosen meant to say, Ann Romney has experienced neither of the situations I faced as a mom.

She doesn't speak for me or most of us.  And frankly, she doesn't even try.

were babies, my husband's beginning teacher's salary still qualified us for food stamps.  With the Republican plan for teachers this has gotten worse. The dignity of a job doesn't help the pain of begging relatives for enough moeny to feed your kids.
