  •  I remember in 8th grade... (6+ / 0-), so many times before gym class suddenly feeling superiorly sick to my stomach, I'd ask to call home and get my mom to come get me, and she would, but it wasn't for years that I realized that that stomach sickness was anxiety and not a virus of some sort.

    The years of my peers abusing me combined with the years of my alcoholic father abusing me has mixed together to produce someone who's totally mentally broken now.

      than you may realize. We all are. It is not easy being a survivor but it is possible to think your way into a good place at peace with yourself and getting on with being reasonably happy. The scars and wounds are not the only thing about you and must not define you.
