When I think back to middle school, I remember a couple friends, lost in time when highschool district lines divided us, but the names I do recall are the 2 bullies who made it hell.

But you are not to worry.  They have forgotten me over the span of years.  I was just their hobby.  They were my life.

Why does the rabbit run faster than the fox?  Because to the fox it is just another meal.  To the rabbit it is his life.

I know where they live.  I know what their phone numbers are.  I know the dates when their car windows get smashed.  And I know who leaves them notes on the broken glass.

What is ironic I'm certain, is that if it had only been me, they would be able to remember me, and find me.  But with a lifetime of being assholes, they have no idea where to look.

Yes, I know, right after I posted I thought, "here come the letters and notes to let it go, to get over it"

Sorry.  When we put the Japs in camps, we said "get over it, we are sorry"  When we put the hidden suspects in Cuba Gitmo, we said "get over it, we are sorry"

It is a stupid philosophy.  I don't feel like getting over it.
But, thank you for your opinion.

Why would they post that?  Why would you let it go?  I haven't let it go.  I still brood about it often.  I understand.  It's a wound that doesn't heal.

Although, I hope you weren't serious about the rocks and windshields.  I can't endorse that.

But, I think you got it so right about the bullies being your life.  It's true... so true... perfectly worded.
