  •  Good point! (5+ / 0-)

In the interest of defeating Romney, I'll try not to cringe whenever I see Cheney's snarling face.

    •  I'll just turn the TV off, or on mute... (10+ / 0-)

... or skip the "news" articles on the internet about the Dickie.

I sincerely can.not.tolerate the sound of that cretin's voice or the sight of that snarling ugly face.

      Ick!

Really, hearing/seeing Dumbya or Dickie makes me nauseous, and mentally I start reacting like I have a horrible case of PTSD from those years they were in office and rode this country straight over a cliff to oblivion.

I know what you mean. Even hearing Bush's voice causes flashbacks.

And I can't stand listening to Romney because I despise liars.

TV on mute until November! :D

I think we're not the only ones.  I've seen other like-minded comments off and on since January '09.  For a while I thought I was the only one who got something like PTSD jitters when I saw or heard those two or any of their cohorts.

Now I know I'm not the only one.  There is some measure of comfort in knowing others have a conscience and high morals and ethical standards and despise liars as much as we do.

Still... mute on the Boob Toob for a while, or I'll only watch shows on Hulu that don't feature the lying war criminals (unless it's Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert whose insights usually have me howling with laughter).

          :-D
