Good luck getting them to tell you the true pricing structure after all the introductory rates disappear after 6 or 12 months (before you sign up).  I keep signing up and canceling because the rate more than doubles after a period of time for internet.  I even told the representative on the phone this last time, "It is silly that we have to do this stupid dance every six months.  I call and cancel and then just resign up a little later for the cheap price."  It really boggles the mind.  It is getting cheaper and cheaper to provide internet service, but the prices are going up and up....thus creating even larger margins for them.   Last time, my bill went from the starting $29.99/month to $75/month just for internet.

I have some friends in Europe and I am amazed at how cheap internet and television is for them.  Even cell phone plans are much cheaper...and I love the ability to just go buy a sim-card and you are good to go.
