    Many US crops would fail if bees were allowed to die off. It makes corporate economic sense to fix the problem, rather than have the US almond crop, for one instance, fail completely, which it will, if no bees can be rented as pollinators. In Northern California, it is common to see trailer trucks full of bee hives heading for their clients' fields, during the nut tree bloom season. Both the bees, and the trees are big business. It follows that a fix is more economical than a failure. My $.02 (I own no linked stock nor trees, nor bees.)
