using hand controls is just a natural thing for me.  I'm not disabled, but I have to believe a hand-controlled automobile would eventually become as easy a mental adjustment.

while doing the gas , brake and steering ?
And another thing is the hands get repositioned on the wheel at corners while the hands stay in position on a bike .
Its not the same thing at all . Think about repositioning your hands while controlling the gas , brakes and steering while shifting going into a corner at the limits of adhesion ?

and though I don't need hand controls, I think it is more complicated. Depends on the person. I met one man, double amputee, who drove stick 'cause he loved little sports cars. I've absentmindedly started to drive with my prosthesis, but realize my mistake quickly when I can't feel the gas pedal but I'm going forward. A bit scary for me.
