    that a five is the only score that counts?  All other scores count as zero in the calculation.

    and yes, it is foolish.  However, when restaurant managers are hired based on their willingness to work eighty hours a week for $40,000 a year, instead of their people skills, corporate must have some way of knowing how many idiots actually believe they consumed quality foods in a friendly environment where people "really" cared about them.

      scale is not only non-linear, but that the difference between a "4" and a "5" is huge in terms of how a salesperson (in this case a car dealer) is evaluated.

      I HATE the fact that people in this man's position (30+ years in the automobile dealership business) has to grovel for a rating like this. It's shameful.
