taneously. A Republican majority of +1 would be a "huge disappointment" to them? Why? All those chairmanships and lack of any opposition (as usual) would disappoint them? It's an absurd observation. It would be nothing short of phenomenal if Dems kept the senate, but losing the majority by "only" one seat is hardly consolation. Obama has led his party off a cliff since summer 2009, and he hasn't stopped the free fall yet. He may be tied with Romney (which is bad enough), but Republicans lead the generic Congressional ballotting by a couple points. Rather amazing given their insane performances.

As for Elizabeth Warren, she is looking like a long shot to beat Scott Brown. (And Rasmussen has them tied, not her ahead, btw.) She can't seem to handle the absurd and mounting attacks about her Indian ancestry, her tone has become sanctimonious, and she's not attacking Brown at all. Meanwhile, Brown is blathering about the importance of bipartisanship in Washington, and leaving most of the attacking to his mouthpieces.  He's clearly a better politician. He may not be good enough to win again in true blue MA, but, I'd make him a better than even money bet. Oddly, no woman has ever been elected governor or Senator in MA.
