Pa. monsignor guilty of hiding child sex abuse

A monsignor who oversaw hundreds of priests in the Philadelphia archdiocese was found guilty on Friday of one count of endangering the welfare of a child, making him the first senior U.S. Roman Catholic Church official to be convicted of covering up child sex abuse.
I guess his position of authority required him to act, he didn't, and it is now deemed a crime.

This is a huge victory for victims.

NPR reported he is facing 7 years in prison.  We'll see.

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.
