    We all need to sing the "these are the things that drive me batshit" song sometimes.

    My frustration is that remarkably few people really do fight back.

    I get sick of standing alone, and that solitary stance makes me - and my students - vulnerable the ego games of naughty power trippers.

    I am out, now, though, and on the other side, fighting for parents of spec ed students, but the fight still gets taken out on the students, and teachers  rarely demand clarification of intent and the supports that federal law grants them.  

    I understand political fall-out for teachers, believe me, but many of these catch phrases can be used against those in power to Remarkably Great Effect.

    Using their crap against them can actually be a silver bullet in many instances.

      even those whose intentions are good, need to be challenged from time to time. (Those whose intentions are not so good should obviously be challenged more often.)
