    Seriously, if their objection to the reform is wholly different from the objections decided by the Court today, why make a statement at all?  By making any statement, and particularly this one, they join in conservative disappointment about the reform and undermine their claim to have only a specific conscience objection.  They should have kept quiet, or said "we have had no position on any of the claims adjudicated today, and we look forward to making the case about our claims."

    That's the problem with bad-faith advocacy, in which you claim to support or object to something for one reason while hiding the real reason: real reasons are hard to hide!  They want to come out and play.
