    The video obviously advocates against heavy beef consumption, but even it says you don't have to give up beef. It also makes favorable comparisons for chicken and pork.

    On the other hand, your diary simply advocates against eating meat.

    Look, I don't eat a lot of beef -- hardly ever, honestly. But I do eat plenty of chicken and turkey. I am also partial to eggs and milk.

    People will stop raising livestock to eat when there is a more favorable alternative. Perhaps if animal tissue can be grown in vats that is more cost effective and indistinguishable from actual livestock, raising livestock will be mostly abandoned.

    But eating a purely vegetarian diet? Not favorable. If that's the only alternative you have to sell? You'll have few following you.
