    both use USPS to finish their deliveries in rural and suburban areas.

    The reason that USPS is having a hard time is because of the law pushed by UPS union workers that requires USPS to accumulate 75 years of retirement benefits  in hand in advance.

    If that were the requirement for all pension systems, no companies in the country would be left standing.
