    an old-timer lefty has been fighting against: he's still all down with cutting taxes on the wealthy (those so-called "job creators" who have had over a decade to prove themselves with the lavish BushCo cuts they already enjoy); he is copacetic with the reintroduction of dirty air and water and unsafe working conditions brought about by deregulation.  What he gets "right", if we can call it that, is the sort of libertarian populism that has always been his stock in trade...

    ...I will confess that I have a little bit of a soft spot in my heart (or head) for Joe. He, like me, has had to address the issues that result from having a child with Type 1 diabetes.  His support and concern for the children and their parents has offered a glimpse of humanity that is otherwise absent in some of his political beliefs...

    ...on the bigger stage of American life, however, I find that 'ol "Morning Joe" only occasionally falls into moments that look like some sort of accidental, diffident "even a blind pig finds an acorn now and again" category, and this looks like one of those moments...
