    And every time Mitt mouths off, he reminds Americans of Obama's accomplishments and the failures of the Dubya-era neocons.

    And as much of a human travesty the mess in Syria and Libya has been, it doesn't move the needle with the voting public. The seemingly endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are still so fresh that the public doesn't have an appetite for further intervention. The cowboy bullshit just isn't going to register at all this year.

      For low information voters, there's no need to go beyond the simple question, "Who got bin Laden?" Yes, yes, yes, the world is more complicated than that, blah, blah, blah, but people understand that. What's more, they understand what it signifies--that Obama is "tough on defense" and isn't really "apologizing for America."
