Cop: Please, sir - I just need you to delay your outing long enough to comply with the law and ensure the license is displayed.

Mitt: I'm sorry, what?  I wasn't listening - I was too busy mentally cataloging all the ways I'm going to have you fired and then laugh at your family when they're homeless.

Cop: Sir, you're seriously out of line, and if you don't comply with the law, I can't let you launch this boat.

Mitt:  Oh yeah?  Well, my lawyer says there's no such law, so I can launch any time I want.

Cop: You talked to your lawyer just now, about this issue that just came to your attention 10 seconds ago?

Mitt: ...I'm getting tired of your insolence.

Cop: You're not launching this boat until you comply with the law.

Mitt: Oh, I get it, "the law."  Wife needs some new pearls, eh?  Tell you what, there's a shiny new $5 bill in it for you if we can just overlook this misunderstanding.

    Cop: Sir, you're under arrest.

(Mitt shrinks back in horror and outrage)

Mitt: Unhand us you fiend!  How dare you touch our royal personage!  AHHHHH!  Help!  This is Communism!  Bolshevism!

Cop: Sir, I haven't touched you yet.  I won't handcuff you if you'll just cooperate.

Mitt: Oh, so that's your game, is it, Comrade?  Well, we'll just see about that!

(Mitt turns his nose in the air and walks right off the boat into the water)

Mitt: Help!  Help!  This awful wet substance is disobeying my commands to stay under my feet!

(Cop jumps in water, rescues Mitt)

Mitt:  (gasping, panting) You do realize I'm having you charged with assault for touching me, right?
