nearby but I can't find a good map showing river names well enough..nearby tho?

followed it to the Arctic so not Milk River which flows south to Gulf of Mexico.
Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park which most of the Milk River rock art .... now I see it, is SE and near the border SE of Head Smashed In.

Milk River is just barely over the Montana Border.
    Aha.

This was taken in front of our campsite when we visited Fort Macleod and Head-Smashed-In.

It goes to the Arctic..well probably a grain field..but used to go to the Arctic.
Always one of my favorite canoe dreams.

Then I read stories from people who try...great if you like mosquitos and blackflies!
          Beautiful tho..thanks!
