    exercise. Warren could do what she chose based on her beliefs. Brown is doing two things. Calling her a liar, with no basis. And castigating people who are native American who might be so audacious as to avail themselves of the protections of the law.

      He is calling her a liar, with no basis.  He is absolutely not castigating people ...etc.  You can say the latter as often as you want.  It won't change the reality.

      Whether or not a candidate has lied is absolutely relevant.  I don't think she lied in any way.  And I think his insistence is starting to hurt him.  But Warren has not effectively explained why she never identified that way (on paper, anyway) until she got to Harvard Law School.  It shouldn't be that hard to say that she had an evolving relationship with her family history and not so hard to call him on the ridiculous notion that she is "clearly not."
