  •  Ignore UNF poll and Virginia problem (0+ / 0-)

UNF poll was in field for more than a week and mostly per-debate.

I am very worried about VA. Our guys are demoralized. Drive around Alexandria, Burke, Fairfax - plenty of Romneyvsigns in people's yards, near zero Obama signs. I was hoping the congressional campaigns would help - but couple days ago they just delivered Connolly signs. Yes, signs do not vote. But people support perceived winners. The lack of signs is perceived as lack of support. My wife signed up with the campaign to deliver signs and has not been contacted. If anyone here knows anyone important in NoVa please get the signs out. It would be a very little inexpensive thing compared to tv ads and such, but it would be a big morale boost.

I have flashbacks of Kathleen Kennedy Townshend who said signs didn't matter and then blew a huge lead. They do matter. Ask anyone who puts them in their yard.

    •  We can't keep our signs in Raleigh... (0+ / 0-)

And yes, I know that having them stolen happens all the time, but it's never been so efficiently done before.

It's like they're ALL gone, within a day or so. On the surface looks like only rmoney supporters because we don't steal signs.

Just a frustrating observation. So back to work!

    •  uhh huh and??? (0+ / 0-)

What about PPP's poll of VA showing Obama ahead 3 taken over the weekend and including Black Friday? What about other polls showing that Florida wasn't as damaged as one might expect?

      •  I'm just telling you morale in my area (0+ / 0-)

It looks like Obama has rolled over.  I drove down a street in a very deep blue part of Alexandria city, and saw 5 Romney signs and 3 Obama signs.  Since this time last week, it's been +3 for both - it was 2-0 Romney last week.

PPP is a favorable pollster to us and they showed the gap closing.
